Biotechnology Investment Forum
BBT has spearheaded a highly successful Biotechnology Investment Forum (BIF) for the region, which is held each year and encourages bioscience investment through presentation and networking opportunities for investors and bioscience companies. The Forum was established in February 2006 to provide new and early-stage biomedical companies seeking funding with the unrivalled opportunity to pitch their propositions to a forum of Venture Capital and Business Angel investor groups with special interest in biotechnology. Since its inception, 79 companies have presented at the annual meetings.
