Green Transport Plan
Exploring and promoting the use of public transport and other alternatives to private car use for our staff, students and tenants has led to the development of the Babraham Research Campus Green Transport Plan (GTP).
The Green Transport Plan aims to persuade people to use sustainable transport whenever possible or practical. It is designed to minimise the negative impacts of transport on the environment.
The Babraham Research Campus' GTP aims to bring transport and other issues into a co-ordinated strategy which will benefit both the staff and villagers of Babraham, by reducing its impact on the environment. By advertising this plan on-site, the Babraham Research Campus aims to encourage its staff to think about travel and how to change travel habits, to become more sustainable.
Babraham Research Campus is now a member of Cambridgeshire Travel for Work Partnership organised through Cambridgeshire County Council.
