Campus Life
There is a strong sense of community about the campus, which encompasses staff of the Babraham Institute, BBT Ltd. and a number of small and medium-sized independent biomedical and biotech companies.
In recent years we have expanded the planted areas around our campus buildings to create pleasant beautifully landscaped outdoor working spaces, which are enjoyed by the academic and commercial communities alike. The walled gardens and natural meadows are particularly tranquil spots and popular in the summer months.
As well as experiencing a sense of scientific community, Babraham’s Sports and Social Club brings together staff from the Institute, BBT and the companies for social activities.
The campus offers its tenants excellent amenities; fully-equipped meeting rooms and conferencing facilities with teleconferencing capabilities, a nursery, bar and refectory, sports and social club facilities including a gym and tennis court.
